Text Box: The SVAC is a nonprofit council, serving the Inland Northwest. To better create connections between the community and the arts, the council supports visual arts, music, theatre and dance. As well as providing public art pieces, the SVAC has embarked on an exciting project for the Inland Northwest. “Inland Northwest Museum and Arts Facility” The SVAC has committed future resources to pursue a primary project; the creation of a Museum and Arts Facility in the Spokane Valley. This exciting project will provide the communities of the Inland Northwest with an Art Museum featuring a permanent donated art collection, traveling art collections, performing arts facility and community arts presentations. This facility will further help the SVAC to create connections between the local arts and the communities surrounding the Spokane Valley.
