ENRICHING COMMUNITY

The Spokane Valley Arts Council was formed as a not for profit corporation in 2004 with goals of improving the appreciation of art in its many forms and therefore elevating our overall art culture.  Annually since 2006, we have produced the Artist Showcase Art Auction.  This art event is a benefit auction whereby the public can interact with professional artists producing what they do best.  The proceeds then go to purchase are objects to benefit our citizens for generations to come.  The artists receive a portion of the proceeds from the event.  We thereby are supporting the creators of the art, the city and its citizens.
